Case 2: SHM200 Series

  • Tool Specification: SHM200-BN2-3-13-K / R1.5x2.4x13
  • Material: SKD11 (60 HRC)
  • Parameters: 11200 RPM, 1344 mm/min feed rate, 0.04 mm depth of cut (Ap), 0.04 mm width of cut (Ae)
  • Cooling/Tool Holder: Air cooling / Heat-shrink holder
  • Outcome: After 120 minutes of machining, SHM200 showed a flank wear of 0.027 mm, surpassing competitor tools with 0.049 mm wear, demonstrating over double the performance.
