High-Efficiency Tools for Threaded Counterbores and Chamfering - BIG DAISHOWA
High-Efficiency Tools for Counterbore and Chamfering of Threaded Holes
一、Counterbore Machining for Threaded Holes
Previous Common Machining Methods:
① Machining with T-slot cutter using circular interpolation
Disadvantages: Relatively low machining efficiency, complex programming, high tool consumption cost.

② Machining with modular counterbore tool (Often used for larger diameter counterboring)
Process: Before machining, remove the cutter head. Pass the shank through the pilot hole. Attach the cutter head from the rear end. Perform counterboring. After machining, remove the cutter head again.
Disadvantages: The operation method is very cumbersome, involves excessive manual intervention, unsuitable for mass production. It also has certain requirements for operational space and poses potential safety hazards.

③ Custom-made non-standard eccentric counterbore tool
Disadvantages: High cost, long delivery time, unstable quality.
To solve the various problems existing with current tools in use, BIG developed the following specialized counterbore tool for threaded holes.
★ BF Counterbore Tool

Specially designed for threaded holes. Full series standardized M6 ∼ M30.

Simple programming, highly efficient machining.
