New head geometry for flat-bottom hole machining has been introduced to the highly productive 3-flute head changeable DRILL-SFEED product line.

New to the DRILL-SFEED family's unique 3-flute geometry flat head for flat-bottom hole machining. The new DRILL-SFEED head line improves productivity and reduces costs by minimizing cycle times and reducing a two-step process to one for flat-bottom hole applications. The flat head is especially suited for drilling cavities for bolts and guarantees excellent performance in cast iron as well as steel applications.

TaeguTec has introduced an economical, high productivity insert exchangeable head milling line, MAXI-TANG.

The new MAXI-TANG product line, designed with a precise and powerful clamping structure, minimizes set-up time due to the simplified head exchange that uses only one screw. The new line includes the cost-effective MAXI-TANG head and inserts. There are two new insert types in the new line: the LXHU insert for slotting and the LPK(H)U insert line for facing operations. The MAXI-TANG line provides economical yet productive performance in the miniature industry due to its 5 mm small I.C. size and optimized 4-cutting edges that enable excellent machining performance.

TaeguTec’s QUAD-RUSH line has introduced extra wide grooving inserts and holders for wide profile machining.

The QUAD-RUSH line now includes standard, semi-finished insert blanks for external wide profile grooving in three widths: 10, 15 and 20mm. These insert blanks come in the UF10 uncoated grade, suited for the machining of a wide range of materials and can be used after self-grinding to the desired profile by the enduser. When required, the user can utilize the specific holder as a grinding fixture thanks to its high precision insert positioning and simple yet reliable clamping mechanism. In addition, the COOL-BURST’s pinpointed highpressure coolant supply contributes to longer tool life and improved productivity.
