Unveiling the Production Process You Never Knew
The rebound-free hammer is one of PB Swiss Tools' best-selling products. They are exceptionally durable and feature a unique structure.
The insert in the center of the hammer head is a circular steel disc. This design is more durable than hammers filled with metal shot. The steel disc sinks upon impact, absorbing the rebound force, thus achieving stable, accurate, and powerful hammering.
The hammer handle is made of FSC® certified hickory wood, providing a more comfortable grip.
Worn or damaged inserts can be conveniently and quickly replaced, saving costs and protecting the environment in long-term use.
The new rebound-free hammer with metal inserts complements the popular nylon rebound hammer. Two different metal inserts (copper and aluminum) allow for precise and careful force transmission, resulting in lower error rates and superior outcomes.
Covers a wide range of applications: assembly work, sheet metal processing, straightening operations, maintenance, repair, and non-damaging striking during upkeep.
While continuously developing new products for customers, we are also improving existing production processes. To enhance production speed and precision, we have semi-automated production steps using robots (the first pure OmniCore robot machining cell) to date.
PB Swiss Tools produces seven different specifications of rebound-free hammers, with a total annual production of approximately 80,000 units.
Retrofitting the automated machining cell for other specifications can be completed in just fifteen minutes, allowing us to produce high-quality hammers faster and in greater quantities.
