BIG Hydraulic Chuck Enables High-Precision Machining - BIG DAISHOWA
BIG Hydraulic Tool Holders Empower High-Precision Machining
As the wave of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing grows stronger, the manufacturing industry continues to develop towards digitalization, networking, and intelligence. This brings increasing challenges to producers and sets higher requirements for the accuracy and stability of equipment and tooling systems.

Today, let's introduce the BIG hydraulic tool holder, widely recognized for its high precision and stability. Its high runout accuracy supports milling, drilling operations, especially deep holes with high length-to-diameter ratios and high-precision reaming, including multi-step compound holes. Furthermore, with its rich selection of clamping diameters and various lengths, users can freely combine them for different interference scenarios.
Product Structure

Main Advantages
Simple Operation
Easy tightening and loosening with just one T-handle wrench. No need to worry about excessive locking force overloading the oil chamber or insufficient force causing inadequate clamping. Simply tighten until it stops.

High Runout Accuracy
Achieves high precision with runout accuracy within 3μm before 4 times the diameter. This high runout accuracy provides superior machined surface finish and extends tool life.

High Repeatability
Excellent repeat clamping accuracy.

High Rigidity, Integrated Internal Structure
Utilizes an integrated structure of the holder body and inner sleeve, offering higher rigidity and more stable precision compared to split structures sealed with ordinary O-rings. Additionally, the two-point clamping design via two hydraulic chambers reduces the tool's effective overhang, further improving runout accuracy.

Extended Benefits & Applications
Long-term Cost Savings: In the long run, users gain not only the advantages mentioned above but also overall machining cost savings. With the effective improvement in tool runout accuracy, product quality improves in all aspects, machining and inspection times are reduced, and efficiency sees significant improvement compared to holders with general precision. Simultaneously, with extended tool life, users can more directly feel their machining costs decreasing!
Scope of Application
The hydraulic tool holder, incorporating multiple advantages, has already demonstrated its capabilities in product machining across various industries. For example:
- New Energy Vehicle Motor Housings
- Automotive Molds
- Mobile Phone Molds
- Engineering Valve Components
Many high-precision machining processes have effectively benefited from its high-precision support.
Product Types
Regarding our hydraulic tool holder product types, to provide users with diverse options, we have introduced many different series for various high-precision machining conditions, addressing potentially challenging scenarios.
1. Super Slim Type

Tip diameter Min. ø14mm
Max. 60,000min-1 (HSK-E25)
Slim design eliminates interference.
Ideal for high precision 5 axis machining.
2. Jet Through Type

Securely supplies coolant or oil mist to the tool periphery.
Delivers outstanding results with high accuracy finishing in 5-axis machines.
3. Special Type for Micro-Machining

The special series for HSK-E32 and HSK-E40 meets the requirements for using high-precision, stable repeatability hydraulic holders in high-speed rotation and micro-machining. For tool shank diameters commonly used in micro-machining, such as Φ3mm and Φ4mm, they can be used with confidence at an h6 precision grade. Taking HSK-E32 as an example, with an internal diameter of Φ4mm, tool overhang length controlled at 52mm, a lightweight design of only 190g, and unbalance below 1 g.mm, it enables machining at speeds up to 45,000 rpm.
4. Special Type for Lathes and Swiss-type Lathes

Utilizes two-point contraction of the hydraulic holder's internal diameter for high-precision clamping. The integrated construction of the body and clamping section achieves high runout accuracy and repeatability. Similarly, tools can be easily changed within the machine using just one wrench. Supports high-precision drilling and reaming on lathes and Swiss-type lathes. Various outer diameters and clamping diameters have been added to accommodate different machine models.
